Structure |
The structure of the Centre for Integrated Studies on Climate Change and the Environment comprises a Co-ordination chaired by an Academic and an Executive Co-ordinators. They are, respectively, Prof. Luiz Pinguelli Rosa and Prof. Emilio Lèbre La Rovere, both professors of the Energy Planning Programme (PPE) of COPPE UFRJ. Technical Staff is formed by students/research fellows from M.Sc and D.Sc. courses of the Energy Planning Programme. Centro Clima counts also, with the collaboration of: other Researchers (ex-students) of the PPE Programme, two Project Development Facilitators, a Marketing Manager, and with the Administrative Support of the Environmental Sciences Laboratory (Laboratório Interdisciplinar de Meio Ambiente) LIMA/COPPE/UFRJ.

The Centre for Integrated Studies on Climate Change and the Environment, Centro Clima, is a virtual scientific research centre, which is located at the Technology Centre of the Institute for Postgraduate Studies and Research in Engineering – COPPE - of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro – UFRJ, Ilha do Fundão, Cidade Universitária, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The Center uses the facilities of the Environmental Sciences Laboratory – LIMA/COPPE/UFRJ – which has a complete infra-structure of servers, PC’s and notebooks, printers and plotters, linked in network, which is connected to the UFRJ servers and to the worldwideweb.
